Camp Adventure will be held at the Calvary Fellowship Church, located at 8530 Stirling Rd., which is located next to the Neighborhood Walmart, and across from the JCC.   

Camp Directors Scott Avras, Fran Scarcella, and the fine staff at Camp Adventure have been preparing for a new and exciting day camp experience for your child as we get ready to celebrate our 26th summer of Camp Adventure!   Camp Adventure is different from any other summer camp because of our wonderful staff. Camp Adventure’s staff is made up of a combination of Broward County teachers, teacher aides, and college students interested in working with children. Our “Kid-Oriented Staff” will make this summer your child’s most fun and memorable summer ever!

What’s New at Camp Adventure?

Camp Adventure has changed it’s daily format for the summer, moving forward,  in response to the Covid 19 crisis.  In an effort to make each summer as safe as possible for our campers, as well as for our CITs and staff, we will be no longer be going on field trips.  We will be running our summer day camp program at the Calvary Fellowship Church, where we have a large indoor space, as well as some amazing outdoor play space.

The staff and management at Camp Adventure are very excited about this upcoming summer.
We will be running four camp groups this summer.

• LOWER CAMP: K – 2 Students entering kindergarten (5 years old) through second grade
• MIDDLE CAMP: 3rd & 4th grade Students
• UPPER CAMP: 5th & 6th grade Students
• TEEN CAMP: 7th, 8th & 9th grade Students

Campers will be placed in age-appropriate, co-ed groups. All activities will be age-appropriate.

Camp Adventure will also be using a block scheduling system, which will allow our campers to participate in a variety of activities that will be scheduled on a rotating basis.

Camp Adventure has also made some changes to our C.I.T. Program. We are changing the minimum age and grade requirement back to 14 years of age and going into 9th grade.

Color War will be split this Summer, with Lower Camp’s Color War taking place during week 7, which runs from July 22nd through the 26th. Middle, Upper, & Teen Camp’s Color War will all run week 9, which is August 5th through August 9th.  Please remember that in order for your camper to attend Color War, they must attend camp for a minimum of two weeks prior to Color War. Any two weeks will do!

Creative Arts
Weekly Arts and Craft Projects, Clay Art, Ceramics, Poster Art, Story Time, and for Lower Camp, Fran and Nikki’s crazy puppet shows!
